Finally, some Fukushima pictures! I'll try to add more of actual people, classes, etc., now that I can upload them! These are all pictures taken near our apartment along my jogging route--one is from our balcony of our nearby volcano! :)
Haidee: I have heard "much" about you from my less-than forthcoming brother, and would love the chance to get to know you better. :) Hope you don't mind as we follow along in your Japan adventures. I'm sure it's a very different experience from my own! But you're welcome to check up on us as well: doctorsmclaughlin.blogspot.com, or mccropders.blogspot.com
Hi! I'm Haidee, and this is my blog about the new opportunities God has put in my life by calling me to Fukushima, Japan, as an outreach worker. Teaching English, organizing drama ministry, coordinating worship groups, Bible study, and (of course!) prayer are all parts of the puzzle, and I am always looking for new ideas and insights into how to share God's love with the Japanese people (and everyone, really). Welcome aboard, and feel free to explore, comment, and pray as you read this blog and we learn together what walking by faith in Fukushima looks like...

"Joy is the serious business of heaven. Our merriment must be between people who take each other seriously." - CS Lewis
"...let us believe that what He [Jesus] shows, He gives; what He is, He imparts." - Andrew Murray, Humility

"Joy has a history. Joy is the verified, repeated experience of those involved in what God is doing." - Eugene Peterson, A Long Obedience in the Same Direction
